André Rieu and his Johan Strauss Orchestra are to give another Christmas concert at GelreDome on Saturday 19 December 2009. Tickets sales for this unique Christmas gala event have already commenced.

Mr Rieu is to compile a special musical programme for the Christmas gala at GelreDome, which will focus on the spirit of Christmas and Viennese romance. ‘We have come up with several exceptional ideas for the event… Despite the fact that the year ahead is going to be another busy one, I certainly look forward to returning to GelreDome’, the world-famous violinist and conductor from Maastricht admitted.

This promises to be a highly spectacular evening, with impressive decors and light show, fantastic soloists, compelling waltzes, classical music, operetta and musical numbers.
